Ticker reset

I had to reset my "days since I bought yarn" ticker. Yesterday, in my fit of boredom, I purchased a ball of size 10 crochet cotton, to use in the creation of the Dutch sampler being recreated on the KnitalongSamplerM group.

And today, I got tired of waiting for an order I placed on May 29th and ordered some more Brown Sheep Cotton Fine to make some Bazaar Socks. But I still can't start the socks until I get some Cavern (black) or some other dark color. Apparently, there are a lot of people making these socks.

I did download a pattern today that I'm hoping will help use up stash: Sizzle, by Wendy Bernard.

Oh crap, now I want to buy the Sizzle pattern, too. I think I may be too fat for it, but if it's really that low-cut, no one will notice my fat rolls!
I joined up for the Dutch sampler too, but I'm not sure I'll do it. What do you plan on doing with yours after you're finished? Frame it? I guess I wasn't real impressed with what I saw.

Julie - I am still waffling about Sizzle - I hate to knit for myself.
The bad part about being "Cleveland" for me is that I was raised just a bit south of there. I guess you can take the girl out of Ohio, but . . .

I'm in the middle of my Bazaar socks (you can see them on my blog) out of handspun. It's a fun pattern, although I knitted too long last night and have a pain in my left hand today. A day for spinning, I guess!
